Eastern Glass Resources, Inc. fully tempered glass offers higher mechanical and thermal strength than annealed or heat strengthened glass.

Tempered glass normally has a breakage pattern of small pieces and is less likely to cause severe injuries than annealed or heat strengthened glass.

Tempered glass has approximately four times the mechanical & thermal strength of annealed glass of equal thickness.

Tempered glass can not be cut or drilled after tempering. Any field fabrication, including edge grinding, sand blasting or acid etching can cause premature failure.
